Schmoo: It's truly astonishing -- not how beautiful my niece is, but the change in my sister. Schmoo: She's a mom now. Schmoo: I've never imagined her that way. Schmoo: Not that I thought she'd be a bad mom -- far from it -- but I just never pictured her that way. Schmoo: But now, she's this completely new (wonderful) person. Schmoo: Amazing. Danylo: there is something about that moment that changes people, it's not anything over the previous year, it's that moment that goes on the birth certificate that seems to be one of the only specific defining moments one has since their own birth Schmoo: I think you're right. I told B-Square that when he has that moment sometime in the next 48 hours or so, his life will change forever. Danylo: i think we should post this exchange on f2bm Schmoo: I've avoided posting anything about it, just cause I haven't quite had the right words to describe Kasey -- and I still don't. I think B-Square will have something to say pretty soon, although it'll probably be a few days before he gets around to it. Schmoo: But if you want to start a thread, I'll bite.

I do struggle with the idea of having kids of my own. If I have a mommy clock, it isn't ticking. But I do like the idea of being Aunt Gina.
