Those of you in our fair Commonwealth who have been living a slight dry spell lately, don't feel bad, I have your spin for you: you were just being law abiding.

Virginia had a statute making sex between unmarried people a misdemeanor. Granted it, hasn't been enforced since roughly 1847, but still. Fortunately, it was overturned by the state supreme court based on a SCOTUS decision allowing sodomy in Texas.

You can now pack in public and fuck in private. Thank you, Virginia.

Of course, neither fornication nor sodomy laws ever slowed down the Family Circus. (read the reviews)
