In keeping with the themes of politics, congress and booty, I wish to alert you to files available through a Freedom of Information Act request (reposted from a mailing list)

FBI INVESTIGATION FILE ON SEX WITH CONGRESSIONAL PAGES RELEASED

The FBI has released a file entitled Allegations of Sexual Exploitation of Congressional Pages by Public Officials, File number 58-11058. The file has been redacted to remove some sensitive and potentially embarrassing material. In addition, the FBI was unable to locate the second of this two section file, in addition to some enclosures.

The investigation associated with this file occurred in 1982, and it appears that the FBI located no evidence of an organized prostitution ring.
