The battle has come to a close

My housing situation, which as you may recall, really fucking sucks and finally sees a bright spot. Normally.

My current POS still hasn't been leased. Check here to keep yourself updated on the availbility of this shit hole Because you obviously don't have better things to do or you wouldn't be here in the first place.

Anyway, we finally signed a lease on a new apartment for next August. My friend lives there now and says that it's a nice place to be, so here's to hoping she's not wrong.

She also tells me that the police were knocking on their door this morning because some guy got beaten up pretty badly the night before and bled all over their front and back porches, among other places in an effort to hide or find help or get a sandwich or something. (It's a well known fact in some circles that her house is the place to go for sandwiches at 4am.)

The landlord responded by saying, "I'll clean up the blood tomorrow."

Stay posted. This could be fun.

actually they only bled on our back porch, but they made up for missing the front one by smearing blood all over the side of our house and two cars in the driveway.

can't compete with the mental image schmoo has left us with, but if you want to feel a little better about having blood smeared on your house and cars, read this.

Schmoo's story raises a question: Has anyone in "Johnny's" position ever tried reverse psychology on their assailant?
