WARNING: This entry is not for wang-haters or for those who are otherwise easily offended by the frank discussion of hard, throbbing cock. But, don't worry, ALL links are safe for work.
So, as I was getting ready for work this morning, I was listening to CNN's American Morning, where there was a discussion going on about the recent FDA approval of Levitra, a rival to the ever-popular impotence drug Viagra. Before I continue, I have to clarify that I'm not trying to make light of impotence, so I hope the comments I have will not rack up enough bad karma to doom me to a life of flaccidity. And I'm definitely not trying to take a cheap shot at anybody who uses this drug or other, similar, ones.
Anyway, amid the wonderfully blithe conversation about various remedies for erectile dysfunction , Bill Hemmer happened to mention yet another rival to Viagra that is not yet approved for use in the U.S., but should be in the next year or so. The drug, Cialis, has come to be known as "The Weekender," due to the fact that its effect lasts up to 48 hours. Now, to be brutally honest, it's been <a href="#" onClick="alert('Don't even ask how long.');return false;" title="Click me!">a little while since I've had an official use for an <a href="#" onClick="alert('Which, for the purposes of clarification, is not to say I haven't had one.nnJust not one that has provided any public good.');return false;" title="Click me!">erection, but I believe I can safely say that I would have no desire to walk around with a 48 hour hard-on. Aside from the inherent danger to the eyes of all involved parties, I just don't think it would be very comfortable. What if you'd like to make a little post-coital snack on your George Foreman grill? Or if, in the course of walking in the dark, you slam into a wall? Or how about if you just start getting woozy from loss of blood to your head?
I'm not saying that it's a bad drug or not without its benefits. Hell, you'd always have a place to hang your hat for the weekend. And Christmas tree decoration would be easier.
I'm just thinking out loud.
