Falling in the trap of Manilow

So, here I am listening to "Mandy" by Barry Manilow. I love this song. Sure, some might consider it commercialized treacle, but it's a very beautiful, and sad, song. And, IMHO, Manilow doesn't get enough respect. Anyway, it reminds me of one of the happiest times of my life and how I blew it by not taking a chance. Damn. What I wouldn't give to take a mulligan and do it right this time. I know exactly what I would say and do. Alas, there are no "do overs" in life, so I suppose there's no use lamenting missed opportunities.

Manilow makes that pretty hard, though.
